I had different ideas when first thinking about my film.
My first idea was:
A boy falls in love with a girl who just moved in front of his house. It was love at first sight. He makes friends with her only to find out that she loves someone else. The story then shows if he gets the girl or not.
My second idea was:
A girl who has everything. A perfect family and a great job. The only thing missing in her life is her love and therefore she is still searching for the true love of her life. She meets a boy in a shop and falls in love with him at the first sight. They become friends and their love story slowly begins.

This is the order of the title sequence which I will be using in my film. I have also put down the time in minute and seconds where it will feature in my film. This makes it more easy for me to plan my shots according to my titles therefore I know in which shot to include these titles.

RESEARCH : Similar Movies - Titanic
Titanic
Titanic is about a ship that leaves on April 10th, 1912 with several passengers. And on its classic expedition, a poor artiste called Jack Dawson and a rich girl Rose DeWitt fall in love, until one night, when the ship submerges to the bottom of the North Atlantic. Rose leaves her boyfriend Caledon Hockley for Jack, but when the Titanic strikes with the iceberg the ship sinks. Jack dies and Rose survives and 84 years later Rose tells the story about her life on Titanic to her granddaughter.
The ever most romantic movie I believe is this one as it portrays love in a very fascinating way. Duty to this movie, I decided to chose romantic genre as this genre really gets the audience engaged and makes them feel connected with the characters.

The story he reads follows two young lovers named Allie Hamilton and Noah Calhoun, who meet one evening at a carnival. But they are separated by Allie's parents who disapprove of Noah's unwealthy family, and move Allie away. After waiting for Noah to write her for several years, Allie meets and gets engaged to a handsome young soldier named Lon. Allie, then, with her love for Noah still alive, stops by Noah's 200-year-old home that he restored for her, "to see if he's okay". It is evident that they still have feelings for each other, and Allie has to choose between her fiancé and her first love.
I have chosen this movie because it focuses on 'first love' which the female protagonist in my film is in search of therefore I thought this would be a very good movie to use as an example.

The film jumps through their lives as they both search for love, but fail, bumping into each other time and time again. Finally a close friendship blooms between them, and they both like having a friend of the opposite sex. But then they are confronted with the problem: "Can a man and a woman be friends, without love getting in the way?"
This is a romantic comedy. My characters have been inspired from this movie's characters - both out from university and working. I have shown my female protagonist in search of love just like the characters in this movie.

Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge
Raj is a carefree, happy-go-lucky second generation NRI. Simran is the daughter of Chaudhry Baldev Singh, who inspire of being an NRI is strict about adherence to Indian values. They two meet on a month long euro-trip, and what began in pranks, fun and games, ends in love. But by the time they realise it, it is already too late, as Simran has left for India to be married to her childhood fiancé. Raj leaves for India with a mission at his hands, to claim his lade love under the noses of her whole family. Thus begins the saga.
This is a Bollywood Hindi movie which is very similar to my story. It's got romantic genre and I have been inspired to have romantic genre because of this movie.
