RESEARCH : Stuart Little 2

The first shot opens with an establishing shot of New York as the titles appear to tell the audience where the movie has set. Next we see a long shot of their house which allows the audience to know that now the next scene is going to be inside the house. The long shot also helps to see its surroundings and tells us that its a clean and happy environment. Inside the house, we see a panning shot of a bedroom which pans from their bed to alarm clock which also tells us that the sound which we are hearing at the background is of the alarm clock and it gives more impotence to the alarm clock because it shows verisimilitude because that is how we usually start our day and mostly its always the alarm clock which wakes us up. Next we see the use of match on match eye line when the lead female takes her baby and opens the window. From outside, we see birds flying upwards and the camera follows them because thats where the next shot is. George's bedroom is upwards. We get another panning shot of his room and then a close-up of stuart as he wakes up. The camera is following stuart as he is coming down from his bed towards George. Later, we see a focus pull of stuart at the front and George behind which gives more impotence to stuart. the music used from the start is very happy and catching, this tells us that its a light hearted movie. Also the artist who is singing sounds very calm and the lyrics suggest that everything is going on fine. The only diagetic sound used in this title sequence is of the alarm clock and when the birds are flying, this makes the scene look more authentic and the audience can connect with it. The clothes used for everyone is usual clothes to makes it look more real. The most impotent editing in this movie is stuart and how his character is made by using special effects. His role really contributes a lot to give the editing more attention.
